Let me start off by saying that this catalog is in pretty rough shape with staining, cover wear, water damage, etc affecting a goodly portion of the catalog - it gets quite bad the further toward the end of the catalog you go. However, my guess is that this was a rather small, local company, and to find this particular catalog in any condition would be like searching for the proverbial needle in a haystack! So it is being offered in strictly 'as-is' condition. That said, it is the 1912 edition of 'L J Farmer's Fall Bearing Strawberries and other fruit plants' catalog. Company was located in Pulaski, New York, and pictured on the front cover are L J's children arranging and crating the fall bearing stawberries on October 20th, 1910! Are there any descendants out there in the Pulaski area?? Or perhaps elsewhere by now nearly a century later??Catalog measures about 5 1/2 by 8 inches, and has 40 pages. Lots of different kinds of berry and fruit plants (as well as some vegetables and poultry too) are described in the detailed way that was typical of the era, and offered for sale.
