Barrie PETER & WENDY, Which had been Illustrated only in Sepia by Bedford, This is not only the FIRST FULL COLOR ILLUSTRATED EDITION, it is absolutely the most GORGEOUS Color Illustrated Original Peter Pan, Wendy & Tinker Bell book EVER!!    (The Rackham & Blampied Versions of the earlier Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens being by far the Greatest of that Story).     It is Hard Cover with Wonderful Color Pictorial Front Board Paste-on, done in lavender & green over tan on original Light Green Cloth, with a additional Great Oval Pictorial inset in good condition, just a couple of soil areas. Rear Board has faded at the top, and has some faint markings.    Boards & spine in tact, with some spine edge and tip wear.  Full Spine Cloth with title, though somewhat faded.  Text and Illustration Block is separated from boards, and most of the very heavy page stock has come loose -- but many collectors don't mind that.  It is Complete, with all pages and illustrations with each panel having a Glossy Color Plate.   None are missing any pieces, or damaged, except for a small scribble on the blank rear of one page.        It is Complete, including original unmarked end papers with all Full Color Illustrations that are called for (26 including the front paste on - W & X are combined for one Plate), One plate as Frontis opposite Title page (for the Z), followed by a short story of Peter, Wendy, Tinker Bell, NEVER-LAND & the Lost Boys (these text pages are a little tanned, less glossy stock tanned).      Then comes the Alphabet Verses opposite each of the Color Plates.    Illustration Colors are Brilliant.    This Book is SO RARE in ORIGINAL FIRST AMERICAN PRINTING [n.d., Published 1913] -- Hodder & Stoughton, NEW YORK!!  A True Delight to behold!
