A first edition copy, published by Metropolitan in 1929. The book is in nice condition, as shown, no marks inside of the book.I would call the book a strong very good copy. With this book comes a spectacular first edition dust jacket, which was published in 1929. As new, nearly, as shown. This dust jacket is absolutely NOT a reproduction. That is how good it looks. If you need a COA statement to this effect, I will write one up for you. There is no fading to the spine, no tape and no tears, as shown. This jacket is about as good as it gets. It has to be seen to be appreciated. Usually the jacket shows up in faded and worn, dirty soiled yellow-white condition with pieces missing on the spine. Not this dust jacket.
