Description
This is the last difficult Ripken I'll put up for auction right now. Later I will do more. This is a mint oddball photo distributed by Esskay early in Cal's career. I don't know the exact year, but it certainly is a young Cal in the photo. Upgrade if you already own this piece. You absolutely cannot find a single flaw to improve on this one. You could use your old one as a bookmark, perhaps. Measures 5 by 7 inches. You might consider my opening bid to be high, but I know this is a difficult piece to locate, especially in this great condition. And if you are the second highest bidder, please don't expect a 'second chance offer' on this tag. I do not have another one. Get it now if you really want the utmost collection of Cal oddball. This will be attached to stiff cardboard to help guarantee its safe arrival at your door. Buyer to pay $3.00 for a careful packing job and shipping (with insurance) costs. I have numerous other oddball baseball pieces listed right now. Combine with these other auctions and save on fees. My system: You pay the most expensive fee in full, but only half on the rest. Note: Like all the baseball collectible material I own, I purchased this item when it was first issued and have stored it in a substantial box in a dry and smoke-free environment ever since. Its condition is the same as when I bought it, fresh and new-looking.
