Harry Potter Signed & Dated Philosopher's Stone 1/1 in the WorldThis is a very special auction with a truly one of a kind priceless item. This is no doubt a one of a kind opportunity for an investor or collector. I was given this book and picture as a gift back in 2000 from a wealthy relative and since then the book has been kept in a sealed bag , in a dark spot in my safe. I was never told what price this book was purchased for but I assume it was quite a bit back in 2000. The only reason I am selling this is simply because I need money for college badly this year. It has taken a lot of thinking for me to get rid of this so I really hope it goes to a very serious collector or investor that takes as great as care of it as I have. Ok now the scoop on the book and picture...~The book itself is a softcover 1st edition later print. The reason I was told this was not a 1st/1st is simply because they did not have a 1st/1st present on this day to sign. The book itself is in great condition with little to no aging. I tried to take as good of pictures as I could given my camera to show the quality.~The book was signed by Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Harry Melling (Dudley Dursley), and Christopher Columbus (The Director). The reason it was signed by these 3 people and these 3 only was because they were the ones present on that first magical day of filming on September 17th 2000. The thing that makes the book so special is the fact that it is dated of course and in fact the only one of its kind. ~The picture that is included was the REAL photo taken right after they signed the book. The picture is of Daniel, Harry, Chris, and harry's stunt double. It is an amazing picture, and it shows how young Daniel was and how much fun they were all having at the start of this film series' legacy. Chris is kind of hugging the boys and I have never seen a picture of Radcliffe that was an original and from this early on. When I was given the picture it was already custom framed, and I assume it was done so immediately to preserve this precious moment. The custom frame is very nice with a full backing and a metal wire to hang proudly.~The COA is from one of the most reputable dealers for Harry Potter items in the world, and this item has only been owned by them and myself (aside from the person whom gave it to me as a gift). The Picture itself is really the COA but this is to provde peace of mind on such a rare, valuable item. The COA includes a real signature from the owner of the shop, an offical seal, and even a picture on the COA of the photo and book - so you know 100% it is real.~So we all know how great the Harry Potter series has become and I am truly one of the series biggest fans. Holding these items in your possesion truly grants a feeling of closeness to this special magic that has been created. As stated before this is a one of a kind Harry Potter book, and how many Potter books can we honestly say that about?
