First in this set is the original hardcover release published in the UK by Bloomsbury in 1999. ISBN 0747542155. First edition, first printing with full numberline 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. A pristine book -new and unread in very fine condition, in a very fine dustwrapper. Only 10,000 copies of the first printing were produced. There were 3 states of the first printing. The first state had a couple of errors: On page 4 it attributed the copyright to Joanne Rowling instead of JK and on page 7 there was an error in the text block. These errors were picked up early in the printing and corrected. The second state attributed the copyright to J K Rowling and there was no error on page 7. There is also a so-called 3rd state, but some speculate that it was actually the Australian first edition, sold (by accident?) in the UK. It is different from the second state in that there is no mention of the printers on the copyright page and there are two pages of adverts in the back of the book. The third state is also produced on cheaper paper. This is the second state of the first printing with J. K. Rowling on the copyright page, corrected print errors, printed at Clays and no adverts at the rear of the book. Very rare to find in such pristine condition. The second book in this set is the first edition, first printing of the paperback release, published later in 1999 by Bloomsbury. This also has the full numberline 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. This is new and unread with the slightest hint of shelfwear. ISBN 0747546290 The third book is a first edition, first printing of the large print hardcover. Has the all important full numberline and is in new unread condition also with the slightest hint of shelfwear. It comes (as issued) with no dustwrapper. ISBN 0747560773 In summary this is a great collectors set of 3 genuine original release first editions at a very nice price. These books will be packed with the greatest of care.
