Description
IAN FLEMING - DR NO Jonathan Cape, London 1958 FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING Book is in Near Fine condition - Solid, tight and square. Silver lettering on spine and a brown image on the front cover. No corner dings. A single brown spot inside front cover (see picture #7). Pages show some light browning on edges but are otherwise very clean and free of creases or tears. Dust Jacket (designed by Pat Marriott) is also Near Fine, showing light rubbing and absolutely minutest loss on corners and top of spine. Browning on back cover and spine and a half inch closed tear on back cover near spine (visible in picture #10) . Otherwise no creases or tears. Unclipped "13s. 6d. net" price still showing. I bought this book at Christie's 30th November 2001 Fine Books and Manuscripts sale (part of Lot 338).
