Description junekat Store Original 1967 SEARS Christmas/Wishbook~Great Reference! This auction is for an original 1967 Issue of the Sears "Christmas Book" (Also known as "Wishbook") Catalog. This is an amazing reference for collectors, and of course, all the Baby Boomers who remember it with nostalgia...It has  609 pages, and the cover and interior pages are in what I would consider very good-excellent condition. The cover has some wrinkling & there are pencil markings on the back cover. The pages are all intact, with only some yellowing from age. It has one flaw in that there are ink notations on pages 522-523, which read "Save". It seems that the owner was either going to tear these pages out, then changed his/her mind, or they just flattened the catalog open to those pages, which loosened the spine from the pages (see photo). At any rate, none of the pages were removed, and only a few have come loose from the binding. It still has the original Order Form inside. There are Dennis cartoons and vignettes throughout the pages, and even the cover has a significant reference to the cartoon. The pink vignette on the cover is not a peel off, but is actually printed right onto the page. It reads "This year your Christmas shopping can be real fun, thanks to the happy antics of Dennis the Menace and the at-home convenience of Sears Catalog".You will not be disappointed in the hours of entertainment this catalog offers.
